If you haven’t used PayPal by now then you’ve almost definitely heard of it. PayPal is an online payment company that lets its users send money to friends, family, business associates and more. Sounds fairly simple, right? All you need to do to use PayPal is set up an account with your email address and some basic information

But why bother? PayPal has a wide number of online uses; one of the most popular use is as a way to pay for eBay purchases. It’s not required, but the two companies often work together and most eBay users choose to pay in this way.

The main reason for PayPal’s popularity is that it encrypts your bank and credit card information when you’re paying for things online. This will give you extra peace of mind when making online purchases – it’s much hard for hackers to access your personal information. If you are hacked and someone has used your PayPal account to make a fraudulent purchase, PayPal is great at helping you get your money back. It’s also very user-friendly and doesn’t come with additional fees (when you’re sending money to family and friends).

One thing to keep in mind is that PayPal is infamous for freezing accounts, and if your account gets frozen, they hold your money until you can prove your transactions haven’t been fraudulent
