A 22-year-old Howard University student, Esube “Izzy” Wondwossen, has been reported missing. She was last seen leaving the Pentagon Metro Station in Northern Virginia on Tuesday morning. Police are actively searching for her.
- Wondwossen is described as a Black female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a black jacket. She also had a black backpack with her.
- She was reportedly last seen by friends around 10:30 p.m. on Monday. The following morning, she did not attend her scheduled classes at Howard University. Her phone has been going straight to voicemail since Tuesday morning.
- Wondwossen's family has been notified, and they are cooperating with the investigation. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage from the Metro station and surrounding areas.
- Anyone with information regarding Esube Wondwossen’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Arlington County Police Department. The search efforts are ongoing, and there have been no leads reported thus far.
