The Eurowings flight, originating from Cologne, Germany, and bound for Mallorca, Spain, experienced an unexpected diversion to Paris. The unscheduled landing occurred on Saturday evening.
The cause for the diversion was the detection of steam emanating from one of the onboard galleys.
Upon landing in Paris, the aircraft was subjected to thorough inspections.
Following the technical examination, it was determined that the aircraft was safe for further travel.
Consequently, the passengers were able to continue their journey to Mallorca on a different aircraft.
The airline confirmed that no passengers or crew members sustained any injuries as a result of the incident.
Eurowings also stated that all affected passengers were rebooked onto a replacement aircraft to complete their journey.
