5 Sports That Are Better To Watch On Television Than Live

I love sitting down with a group of mates to watch a great sporting event. And you know what, I’m just going to say it – sometimes it’s better than watching a
sport live. While it’s true that many sports are full of spectacle and drama, and the energy of a crowd can definitely add to the experience, there are some sports that really are just better to watch on TV. Here are my top 5!
1. Snooker/Pool – There’s a lot of strategy involved in
snooker, which makes it fascinating to watch. But watching it live can be a pain. It can be hard to see and the players can take a long time to line up shots. Television also gives replays and diagrams, which makes it more enjoyable in my opinion.
2. Badminton –
Badminton is extremely physical and dramatic, but the drama often doesn’t translate live. It’s hard to see where the shuttlecock is, and there are often multiple matches going at once.
3. Formula One – The one time I watched motor racing live, I felt like I spent the whole time sitting and waiting for the cars to come back around. Following the drivers around the course with the camera gives a much more exciting viewing experience.
4. Diving – I love watching the slowed-down replays – the dives are so quick in real time and it’s hard to see exactly what happened.
5. Golf – It can take a while to get to the final holes, and the ability to watch the replays and diagrams on the screen makes it feel less tedious.
