I have a confession. I’m a little bit obsessed with stationery. There’s just something so special about popping in to your local newsagent and finding a brand new notebook or trying all the pens (I definitely do this). When you have an addiction to stationery, you begin to really narrow down your favourite brands and styles. So here are my absolute top pens of all time!

• 4-Colour Retractable Pen - I can’t be the only one who loves the traditional 4-colour retractable pen! Being in possession of one of these pens in school definitely meant you were one of the cool kids. Trying to convince the teacher to let you write in green was a daily battle. To this day, I still use these pens for colour coding my notes, and they’re also handy if you don’t have much space in your bag/laptop bag – it’s four colours in one!

• Kilometrico Elite - These are my go-to pens for everyday use. They may seem pretty stock standard, but there’s a reason that these pens can be found in every stationery store. The ink is vibrant and long-lasting, and the pens themselves are fairly cheap considering the quality. I do tend to lose these pens frequently though – thank goodness for bulk packages!

• Papermate Flair Fineliners - Sometimes you just need some pretty colours to write with, and fineliner pens are my favourite choice for my more artistic pursuits. They’re great for drawing, journaling, writing cards, decorating, the possibilities are endless! I also love that these pens don’t bleed through the paper, like Sharpies or permanent markers.
