Siena Academy is participating in the Dairy Princess Parade for the first time with a float themed "Saints Through the Years." This event marks a new engagement for the school within the community, highlighting its educational mission and fostering connections.
- Siena Academy will debut its inaugural float in the Canton Dairy Princess Parade on June 6. The float, themed "Saints Through the Years," directly complements the parade’s overarching theme, "Déjà Moo: Dairy Through the Years." This display aims to celebrate the Catholic faith and its historical legacy by having students represent various saints. The presentation is designed to visually embody the academy's core mission, which emphasizes truth, goodness, and beauty. Beyond the parade, Siena Academy will also operate a community booth at the event. This booth is planned to feature interactive activities suitable for attendees of all ages. It will also serve as an opportunity for prospective students and community members to interact with school staff and gain insights into the academy's curriculum. A key component of the booth will be a Duck Race Fundraiser, where purchasing ducks will contribute financial support to the school's various programs. Parent volunteer Sarah Murphy expressed excitement about the academy's new involvement, emphasizing the float as a creative way to celebrate saints and showcase the school community's unique aspects. Community members are encouraged to attend the parade and visit the Siena Academy booth.
