Honda has launched the Super-ONE, an electric hot hatch based on the N-ONE e, with a sporty design and enhanced performance. The vehicle is exceeding preorder expectations in Japan and is set for release in international markets.
- Honda's new electric hot hatch, the Super-ONE, has garnered over 7,000 preorders in Japan since April 21, surpassing the company's expectations. Launched on May 22, the car starts at approximately $21,300 (3,390,200 yen). This sportier variant of the N-ONE e features an upgraded chassis, blister fenders, and a wider stance, while retaining a retro design. It offers up to 63 hp (47 kW), boosting to 93 hp (70 kW) in its exclusive Boost Mode. The Super-ONE includes five drive modes and a 29.6 kWh battery, providing a 170-mile WLTP range and fast charging capabilities. To emulate traditional sports cars, it incorporates a simulated 7-speed transmission and Active Sound Control. The interior features a 9-inch infotainment screen with Google built-in and a premium Bose sound system. Despite its small size, measuring 3,395 mm in length, it is positioned as a fun-to-drive option, distinct from larger performance EVs like the Volkswagen ID. Polo GTI. The Super-ONE will also be available in Europe, the UK (as the Super-N), Australia, and other markets, with the UK version priced under £20,000 ($27,000).
