Popular Sauce Sold in 41 States Recalled Over 'Highest Risk' Salmonella Concerns

The Coffee Connexion Co. Inc. is recalling its popular Alfredo sauce due to potential Salmonella contamination. This recall impacts numerous states and is considered high risk.
The recall stems from a supplier's recall of dry milk powder, an ingredient in the sauce, which was found to be potentially contaminated with Salmonella. The affected product is sold in 3-lb., 7-oz. packages.
Over 900 cases of the Alfredo sauce are involved, with expiration dates ranging from January 12, 2028, to April 20, 2028. The UPC for the cases is 0039954921963, and recall batch numbers are 046188 through 046193.
Distribution of the recalled sauce occurred in 41 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Consumers who purchased the affected Alfredo sauce are advised not to consume it and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Salmonella poisoning symptoms can include diarrhea, fever, stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, and headache.
