Picture This - Fun Ways To Hang Pictures In Your House

I am guilty of hanging way too much art on my walls. What can I say, I love a colourful, personalised house! I’ve also rented my whole life, and I know the frustrations of not being able to hammer nails or hooks into the wall to hang your pictures. I’ve come up with some creative hacks for renters so that you’re not missing out on having beautiful artworks and photographs up in your home. So get your interior designer hat on and try some of these methods (while still being able to get your bond back!)
1. Lean artwork and large photographs against the wall
I like to lean my pictures on shelves, dressers, tables, you name it! This is a great hack if you want to change your artwork around a lot. It leaves more wall space and gives a casual, cosy vibe to your home.
2. Buy some picture-hanging hooks or strips
If you’ve rented for a while, you’ll definitely be acquainted with these handy little objects. They both have sticky backs that can be peeled off on moving day and come in all different sizes to hold a variety of weights. Just make sure you hold them onto the wall long enough, or they’ll fall down pretty quickly!
3. Use string or wire to hang
I love this method; it’s creative and adds an “art room” vibe to your home. Simply stretch a piece of wire or string between two points and attach photos, cards, drawings and papers with paper clips or pegs.
4. Use Japanese washi tape
