William Paul Buckley, MD, FACP, has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who for his extensive career in internal medicine, spanning over two decades. He is noted for his leadership roles, commitment to patient-centered care, and dedication to preserving independent medical practices.
- Dr. Buckley currently serves as a physician with Privia Health in Elkhart, Indiana, a role he assumed in 2024. He is also a long-standing member and equity owner of Elkhart Clinic, a physician-owned entity, where he served as chairman of the board for 12 years. Under his leadership, Elkhart Clinic has maintained its status as the last independent multispecialty clinic in Indiana.
- His prior experience includes serving as chief of staff at Elkhart Hospital and working as a hospitalist at Pekin Hospital before the specialty was formally established. Dr. Buckley has also held leadership positions within professional medical organizations, including president of the District 13 Medical Society and the Elkhart Medical Society.
- Academically, he holds a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency and chief residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Methodist Hospital, respectively. He also completed Privia Health's Clinical Leadership Program in 2026.
