River tours, live violin performance and more to do in Bay County this weekend

Bay County is hosting a variety of community events from Friday, June 5, to Sunday, June 7, catering to diverse interests including families, education, and culture. The weekend features options for learning, recreation, and historical exploration.
- Bay County Library System's Bookmobile will be at Southside Library on Friday (9 a.m. to noon) offering books for all ages and library card sign-ups.
- Bay City Boat Lines is providing guided Saginaw River tours on Friday and Saturday (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.), featuring historical and wildlife commentary. Tickets are $28 for adults and $15 for children.
- Delta College Planetarium will host "The Search for Life in Space" show on Friday (2 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and "To Worlds Beyond" on Saturday (3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.). Tickets are available online.
- DICE Entertainment presents Dixon's Violin at the State Theatre on Saturday (7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
